   This was
the 1st post I went to work on.
  Very
little soil here so chiseled a hole about 5” down into the bedrock.
  Also had
to work around a water pipe.

   This will
be a short concrete column rising from the bedrock, so lined the hole with a
sheet of aluminium and lined that with roofing paper.

   Postioned
the PVC anchor vertically with a temporary 2x4 and dropped it down to its
desired depth. Then poured the concrete

   After a
day of curing and keeping it wet, removed the tin and roofing paper.
   |

   Filled
the remaining hole with wet mud. Dry soil would leach preciuos moisture from
the cement, which is still curing.
  Cut the
anchor to fit into a hole in the post.

   After
positioning the beam that will carry the trailer, found that the post would
be off a little bit. By trimming the PVC, I could bring the post out to match
  the beam evenly.

   Jacked up
the beam and the trailer, then fit posts 6 & 3 into place and let the
weight down on top of them.

   Here's
how it relates to its neighbors after all the rack posts and bracing are in.
In an earthquake, this rack will tend to absorb the movement of the earth,
leaving the trailer in place. It would probably have bounced off of and/or
  toppled the former concrete blocks.
