Drilling into the carport post to attach the hook
with the supplied gutter hook screw

The hook between the posts ...

... is bolted through

The downspout is anchored to the post.
No problem with hanging heavy wet shirts.

Two elbows and a twisted spout send it towards the pond

A water line to the pond filler parallels the long
slightly down spout

At the far end of the long spout, it turns towards the
pond

My 1st gutter. I trimmed the inner lip to make it fit
behind, but than realized it was not necessary.

Need to cut the gutter to fit around this awkward angle

By the time it was done, I knew that I should have
just cut the stack and moved the elbow down

I later caulked this, but it does not leave much room
for the the rain water to get by

The aluminum C-channel is there to hold the
compost toilet stack steady in high wind

The gutter hook comes with a verticle flap on the wall
end, which I had to cut off to fit it to the carport surface

This plastic outlet breaks easily. They do have other
designs that might work better.

Two connectors between the elbows, locked in place
with screws, allowed me to aim the outlet left of center

A submerged pump recirculates the pond water
through this hose

Six years later, all is well.
